Your responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance & Testing:
- analysing requirements and identifying test scenarios,
- designing and executing functional, integration, regression and end-to-end manual tests,
- verifying that final products meet business and technical requirements,
- Test Automation Development & Tooling:
- developing, maintaining and enhancing automated test scripts based on existing manual cases and/or specification using Behaviour Driven Development approach,
- identifying suitable candidates for automation,
- building reusable and scalable automation solutions,
- ensuring automated tests are reliable, maintainable and provide meaningful feedback,
- contributing to or maintaining automation frameworks and internal tooling.
- Defect management:
- identifying, documenting, prioritizing and tracking defects,
- performing root cause analysis where appropriate,
- verifying fixes and assessing regression impact,
- working closely with Business Analysts and Developers to resolve issues.
- Technical Validation:
- validating APIs, databases, services and integrations,
- reviewing logs and technical outputs to investigate failures,
- preparing test data and supporting test environment readiness validation,
- ensuring data integrity between systems.
- Collaboration:
- work with Business Analysts, Developers and other stakeholders,
- clarifying requirements and acceptance criteria,
- providing testing status, quality risks and recommendations,
- participating in project meetings.
- Continuous improvement:
- improving test coverage and testing process,
- identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains,
- promoting quality best practices within the team,
What tools are you going to use?
- TestRail – test management, planning and reporting,
- Jira – defect tracking and project management,
- Confluence – documentation and knowledge base,
- SQL / logs / configuration tools – analysis and investigation,
- Git / Bitbucket – version control,
- Test automation frameworks – both commercial and built internally,
- MS Copilot.
Our requirements:
- proven experience in software testing / QA (2-4 years of experience),
- strong knowledge of test design techniques,
- experience contributing to QA standards, processes or continuous improvement initiative,
- strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex systems and integrations,
- ability to perform root cause analysis and problem-solving,
- commercial experience in test automation (preferably backend/API),
- experience with SQL, data validation and integrations,
- excellent communication skills,
- experience working in cross-functional and international teams,
- understanding of SDLC and delivery methodologies and experience contributing across full delivery lifecycle (design to release),
- english at minimum B2 level (written and spoken),
- ability to balance quality, timelines and business priorities,
- experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. TestRail, Jira).
Nice to have:
- experience in insurance or financial systems,
- practical Python skills,
- practical knowledge of BDD approach,
- experience in internal tooling development to support automated testing,
- knowledge of AI-based testing approaches and tools.
